i think we'll start with our 5 year anniversary, 5 years! wow, good times. debbie got me some cute balloons, and made me some amazing pancakes and i made her some bunting and a roast dinner the night before

i had wanted to try bacon and syrup on pancakes for ages, so i did and it was amazing!! (fake bacon obv)
in the afternoon we went for a picnic, it was really good, we even had a bottle o wine :)
we attended the commercial drive car free day, where they have lots of vendors and entertainment on the street, it was such a hot day!

as im sure you are all aware michael jackson died, what did we do that day? make pizza's of course, they were amazing, greg taught us how to make them

as usual greg got over excited and made a mess of himself

as debbie mentioned in the last entry she took me out for a steak dinner for being such a good housewife, im glad she appreciates all my house work but i have to say tidying the house and doing the dishes is getting a bit monotonous, but i better keep my mouth shut or there will be no more steak dinners for me, ahaha
debbie had a break from work one day so i met her in the park with a surprise picnic feast, she was pretty happy since she so hungry
we went along to kits for debbie's consultation with the tattoo artist but when we got there he was off sick, so to make the trip over there worth while we went to gregs work and had a bulmers, it was gooood esp on such a hot day
we have had quite a few nice breakfasts lately (we like to treat ourselves in the food dept)
debbie hadnt had smoked salmon for ages and i hadnt had mushrooms (since i hate salmon and debbie hates mushroom) so one saturday i headed to the farmers market and got some smoked salmon and a bag of various wild mushrooms, we had a feast of wild creamy mushrooms on mini bagels and smoked salmon, cream cheese, dill and lemon on mini bagels, it was a good breakfast

another good breakfast we had were eggs baked in slices of bread, very tasty
debbie's had hayfever so her mum and dad sent her a contraption to try and combat it, oh how i laughed as she did an impression of the man on the operation board game, teehee
we cut some of my dreads of and i tucked them all up to make the shorter, debbie got to find out what she would look like with blonde dreads! i think she quite suits them
we have received lots of postcards from debbie's folks, its been great finding things in the post box :)
i made some cherry pies, very tasty warm with ice cream
we've been geting on great with mickey, now he doesnt bark at us all the time, debbie even got a wee dance
debbie bought herself a new ipod touch with her earnings, happy she can now listen to music again. to keep it safe she made this lovely cover
on saturday we went downtown to get debbie some new sunglasses and go to the tattoo place for me, first though we went for food and some beers, then debbie had to go to work, i went to see about my tattoo but the woman i wanted to do it was off on holiday for most of aug so i think il look for someone in edin to do it when i get home. after that i went to english bay where the roller derby girls were having a bout, east against west, east lost (thats where we live) :(
we had a 2nd trial of our board game and was another success so i am designing it properly, cant wait for it to be finished and give it a final test run, its a lot of drunken fun
tue was the start of debbies weekend so we headed to the beach for a bbq, on monday i bought a cool box for $2.99 and made some potato salad. we stayed there till it got dark then headed back here to go to the midnight showing of harry potter, i dont know how we thought we could just rock up and get a ticked, the line was huge by the time we got there and it was sold out! so we got some beers and headed home

just to make sure he cut them open and cooked the inside, can never be to cautious with those bbq'd meats
we seen a seal so debbie decided to wade out to try and catch him, i don't think she went out far enough!

so i think thats us all up to date, we have been watching lots of dvd's and reading lots of books from the library. we were supposed to go to see harry potter with greg at 12 today but we slept in till 11.45, oops! so we went to our local cinema instead then debbie had to go to work. and because i got up so late i probably wont get to sleep till late, so its a long wait till debbie gets back from work as i think she'l be stopping of at the coffee shop and reading her book tonight. i suppose i could do the dishes, but its far to warm so i might leave them till tomorrow. iv just started watching ghost tracker, its a kids program, where they have kids go into haunted buildings and track ghosts at night! seriously how can they do that without having a heart attack! i couldnt even do that now let alone when i was 14! might not be a good thing to watch when i'm on my own! hope everyone is well and that the rain has stopped
