where to start....so i started work at harveys and second cup on wednesday at 2:30...i subsequently finished working there on wednesday at 9:30. as in i quit. appearently im just not cut out for flippin burgers, which despite the advert is what the job was offering. to begin with i didnt even get to flip burgers until i could proove i could garnish well. who knew. turns out im a fast learner !? and i was flippin burgers by the late pm. now im not a snob, i could flip burgers all year long for some cash in the pooch, but there was just no life. no banter, no fun, no atmosphere. i felt pretty invisable all day. like when john locke in lost works in the box factory and everyone thinks he cant do anything...just like that. once the girl who was training me to begin with went home pretty much noone talked to me, exceopt to ask my weight !? and age and height. all very odd. They even went off to make themselves some fancy drinks while i swept and mopped the whole place !!! i mean it wasnt so bad, but the customers were not even interested in a chat. all in all it was not the sort of place i would like to spend my time. so the job hunt starts again, i think this time il go into places with my cv so i can check them out first!
i have some more news and other things to blog about.....like our amazing free silver woman !! but i have to go and get my hair cut
