Because i need all the friends i can get

Hey blog fans, just thought id do a wee update. il keep it chronilogical so as to let you get an idea of an average week in the life of me ! On Satuarday i went to Stanley park with Alice, we walked round the sea wall and it was super sunny and warm. The views round thoughs parts are amazing and the weather got me super excited about spring and summer :) Im really looking forward to when some of my family come over and i can show them round. We stopped by a nice cafe for some lunch and my sandwich was amazing and pretty cheap too !

On sunday my work had a big meeting....all i really took from that was free pasta and pizza...i was at the meeting for 2 hours so i tried to eat 2 hours worth of pizza !! i definitely got my moneys worth :)

Monday...........i got myself some new shoes. woop. my old ones were leaking and the bottom had completely worn away to the point i could stick my finger through them...so i thought it was time ! These ones are black with neon pink and green laces. i think they are pretty sweet...im sure a picture will crop up here sooner or later. I haven't uploaded my Stanley park pictures either so il do that all at once and post them here. I also went to steeps and drunk my wait in tea...then i hung around long enough to et a free hot chocolate (3hours incase your wondering)

Tuesday i phoned my mum and dad in the morning and we spoke for 2 hours ! then i went to the library, i love the library here soooo much. Firstly its huge and has so many books spanning so many topics. Also it has DVDs a lot of which are pretty interesting documentaries, so far this week i have watched one on the school system in quebec, one on ultimate frisbee and one about athletes in American high schools.

On the wonderful day that was wednesday i came in and had myself a beer with Greg and then alice got in and wanted in on the action so one thing led to another and we all ended up drinking quite a bit ! We played kings and nominated shots of 'black tusk' (the horrible beer i got that tastes like pencil sharpenings) to each other, it was a really good night, loads of fun :) the next morning Alice made pancakes as a sort of late homage to pancake tuesday and they were delicious. just the right amount of fluffy and with a little lemon and sugar, mmmmmmmmm. Plus we all seemed to have the hangover giggles and it felt like a sunday so that made for a super cool start to the day. Later on alice and i went to see slumdog millionaire which i thought was really good. We then came home cooked up a fish pie and all 3 of us went to the open mic. Fun fun fun.

On Friday after work Holly invited me to have some drinks at the bar across the road from where i work so i went along and had another good night. it was nice to hang out with people from work, i think im in the loop !

And then tonight, i just got back from the wolf and hound which is where greg works, we went there to have some drinks for guido's birthday... and that pretty much takes you up to date. il put all the pictures in one post and pop them up tomorrow because i just realised i haven't uploaded them all yet.

Im going to Seattle with Alice on monday, sooooooooooo excited...a holiday on holiday, fun times !
