Its way too easy to live this life with your eyes half closed

Sorry for bombarding you with all this talk about me, but I want to write it down so I remember! These are some pics from last thursday morning. I didn’t have much to do til around 1 so I went for a walk down by the lake, its really pretty but SO hot so I had to sit in the union for around 20mins with a bottle of water just to recover !! There were loads of creepy crawlys but it looks like a nice place to sit and I seen a lot of graffiti. At night time me philippa fee kathrineand katarina got a free bus downtown and went to a Mexican restaurant. It was fees birthday so we gave her some stuff we picked up from the dollar section of walmart….but it was good stuff! I had anchaladas savas…or something like that and I got free “chips and sauce” as you can see in the pic J then we went to ben and jerrys and I got a strawberry cheese cake milkshake but the smallest one was so big (see pic) so I ended up throwing away quite a bit of it. Philippa dropped ice cream down here top which was funny x The weekend was pretty good, on Friday I moved out of naismith and into jayhawker towers, then…I went to a keg party which was ace. They had American cups ! basically here no one brings drink the person having the party just buys it and then charges whatever they want per cup, it was $4 so that’s nothing considering there was beer, vodka Bacardi and whisky all on offer. I got home at around 4am and had a bagel the next morning to recover J my flatmates or roommates as they say here moved in on Sunday, well Emily and Rhonda did. Stacey is apparently coming this sat. its good though cos shes the one sharing with me so I have a room to myself ! The apartment is really big and the fridge puts stirling to shame ! the night before last I went round to rhondas friends house for a few beers which was pretty ace, they all seems like fun. Last night we walked all the way to 22nd and louisianna which is so far away ! probably like walking from mines to roseburn…but cos of the heat more like walking from Edinburgh to Glasgow…via london just to get some free pizza. It was good though so I would consider it worth it. Then me and katarina went to the shops and I bought a water melon….then walked home, only to dicover I had left my deodorant in her bag…so I may well of smelt a bit of for a day. I have now enrolled in 4 classes and been to 2. they seem ok but the 2nd one is pretty hard core. I have loads of projects to do and I have to hand in the notes iv taken on the reading every week. I haven’t been to buy my books yet but il do that today after this. Tomorrow me and katarina and whoever wants to join us are having a beer and bicycle day. We are going to get a bus to wallmart and buy bikes then cycle to a liquor store cos the only beer you can buy in pubs is only 3.2% then go somewhere pretty and drink. Its gonna be so good ! ok il gonna post this now with some pics above x
